Al-Suqia Mosque is located in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah at Bab Al-Anbariya, specifically inside the railway station wall, and is currently facing the city’s secretariat building. It was mentioned that it was the land of the great companion Saad bin Abi Waqqas.

Its name is due to its location near the “well of water”, which belonged to the companion Sa`d ibn Abi Waqqas, which is located to the south of this mosque, and from which the Prophet performed ablution.
