Can I Make Dhikr, Dua, and Salah in English? | The Best Athan App for Muslims Prayer Times
Salah, Duaa, and Dhikr are parts of worshipping Allah (SWT), however, we know that Quran is in Arabic, so are we allowed to make Duaa, Salah, and Dhikr in English? Will they be accepted?
Matter of fact, supplicating in a language other than Arabic is permissible if there is any Islamic purpose. For example, if the listeners don’t understand the Arabic language.
Again, one may supplicate in a language other than Arabic If he’s not completely in command of the Arabic language, and no one else is eligible to perform this job.
So, It’s permitted to supplicate in English or any other language, however, it is preferable to supplicate in Arabic because it is the language of the Islamic Shariah and the holy Quran.

Note that if the worshipper can make Duaa, Salah, and Dhikr in Arabic, he’s not allowed to make it in any other language.
It’s also preferable if the worshipper starts learning Arabic in the meantime while he makes Duaa, Dhikr, and Salah in English or any other language.
Also, there is nothing wrong with worshipping Allah (SWT) in any language other than Arabic, Allah (SWT) knows the intention of the supplicant and what he wants, no matter what language you speak, Allah (SWT) will hear your voice when you ask for your needs.
