Zawiya Abd al-Rahman Katkhuda (1142 AH 1734 AD), is one of the mosques that was established during the era of the Ottoman Empire in Egypt, located in the Azbakeya neighborhood in Cairo.
The name of the corner came after Abd al-Rahman Katkhuda, one of the Mamluk princes during the reign of Ali Bey al-Kabir
The mosque consists of a rectangle with an open square in the middle surrounded by arcades on all sides. Each arcade contains one row of porticoes consisting of five extended pointed arches resting on four marble columns. As for the qibla gallery, it contains three portals. The mosque is covered with a wooden ceiling consisting of (hoses) and squares decorated with oil paintings.
