Fatma Shaqra Mosque, located on Taht Al-Ruba Street, (873 A.H.-1468-69),
Which is likely to have been renewed by Lady Fatima Chakra, where it was written on both sides of its public door (on the western side),
What it reads: “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful… the six preserved Fatima Shaqra… on the date of the month of Jumada al-Thani in the year eight hundred and seventy-three.”
Its lighthouse is cylindrical in shape. It was reformed by the Department of Conservation of Arab Antiquities in 1907.
It has an old mihrab that is considered one of the most beautiful stone niches. Its cap included muqarnas and was covered with black marble. The cymbal was surrounded by inscribed bands, and on top of it were two rectangles in which he wrote: “وما النصر إلا من عند الله. إن ينصركم الله فلا غالب لكم.”
