The Mosque and School of Prince Sargatmish al-Nasiri, is an archaeological Mamluk mosque built by Prince Sarghatmish al-Nasiri in al-Qata’i’, directly next to Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque, and it is located on Saliba Street in the Sayeda Zeinab neighborhood in Cairo.
It was built by Prince Seif al-Din Sarghatmish al-Nasiri from the Mamluks of al-Nasir Muhammad ibn Qalawun in Rabi’ al-Akhir in the year 757 AH, and he made it a school dedicated to teaching the science of hadith and the principles of Hanafi jurisprudence. Historians approached Sargatmush with foreign scholars and venerated them in high esteem.
