Prayer Times Athan App: Are You Allowed to Believe in Your Dreams in Islam?

As mentioned above, there are three types of dreams. Well, if you see a dream of what you often think or a dream of what you have done when you sleep, then this is a dream of the things you have been thinking of all day. It is not based on reality.

On the other side, if you have a nightmare or a dream in which you see Jinnat or Shaitans or anything harmful, then this is a dream from the Shaitan. In Islam, you have to recite the golden Azkar and those are the verse of Ayat Al Kursi, the Holy Quran, etc.. and then the dream will end and you will get rid of the painful and terrifying feelings.

Finally, if you have any dreams other than these two, that is surely a dream from Allah (SWT). There is something important to bear in mind that when you ask about the interpretation of a dream, it really happens in reality.

And of course, Allah (SWT) knows better and knows what is right.
