Can Muslims do Tasbih Without Wudu? | The Best Athan App for Muslims Prayer Times
In Islam, Tasbih is a form of zikr that involves the glorification of Allah by saying “Subhan Allah”. Tasbih is to mention Allah (SWT)’s names and adjectives.
Also, Tasbih is often repeated a certain number of times, using either the Misbaha or the phalanges of the right hand in order to keep track of counting. Muslims generally use Tasbih with 99 beads, which symbolize the 99 names of Allah (SWT). Misbaha or Tasbih is used to mark repetitions of prayers or other ritual recitations.
Muslims are encouraged to say the phrase 33 times right after prayer as well as throughout the day. Our beloved prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) taught Muslims that it is one of the four praises that Allah (SWT) likes Muslims to say continuously. Misbahas are made using gemstones or wooden beads, however, sometimes they may be made using olive seeds, ivory, glass, or amber. Misbahas are used for everyday prayers for Muslims.
