What Are The Characteristics of The Prophet?
The attributes of the Prophet “may peace be upon him”, are divided into two parts as follows:
Congenital Traits:
The color: Where the Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, was not very white, nor dark; That is, it is not black.
The face: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, had a smooth and flat face that was not round, and his face was like the sun and the moon in the brightness.
The Forehead: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, was blessed with a large forehead, as it was extended in length and width, which is one of the commendable attributes of the figure.
The Eyebrow: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, had two curved eyebrows, strong and lightly connected, which can only be seen when traveling because of the dust.
The Eye: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, had beautiful, wide eyes that were impregnated with red. They have thin red veins, very dark pupils, and long eyelashes.
Behavioral Traits:
It refers to the descriptions of the manners of the Prophet, “may peace be upon him” that he was known among the people and from:
Truthfulness and Honesty: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, was the most honest and trustworthy person, to the extent that his people called him Al-Sadiq Al-Amin before the resurrection.
Mercy: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him” was characterized by mercy and supplication for his nation, as he was merciful to children and women and merciful even to those who harmed him. And Allah (SWT), described the Prophet “may peace be upon him”, in the Holy Qur’an, saying: “And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds.”
Gentleness: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, was characterized as being gentle in his treatment, easy and gentle. According to the Mother of the Believers, Lady Aisha, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with her the Prophet, “may peace be upon him”, said: “Allah (SWT) is kind and loves gentleness in all matters.”
Asceticism: The Prophet, “may peace be upon him” was the most ascetic of people in this worldly life, so he contented himself with conveying his message, content with his life, and he was content with dates and water often, and the bread he ate was of barley, and he did not cost anything in his clothes, and he left nothing after his death.
